If you’re looking for a vaporizer that is both stylish and functional, the Pax 3 has got you covered. It heats up and charges faster than its predecessor. The Pax 3 is a game changer in the vaping world and here’s why.
It’s smart and efficient! Thanks to its lip sensing technology. While you inhale, your temperature will increase which helps maintain good vapor production and quickly replenishes your ovens lost heat while inhaling. If you don’t inhale or pick up your device for 30 seconds, it will enter standby mode. Once in standby mode, the oven will cool down to a preset temperature depending on which mode you are in (see below for dynamic mode breakdown).
You can customize your vaping experience by downloading the Pax app. Good news for Android users, you can easily download the app through your Google Play Store. Not so great news for iPhone/Mac users, Apple has gotten rid of any apps to do with vaping from the App Store. But don’t worry! Now that your Pax is connected to the app, it’s time to check out dynamic modes! There are five dynamic modes to choose from. Out of the box, your device will start off in standard mode.
Dynamic mode settings:
- Standard - balances vapor production and flavour presentation by increasing temperature when your lips are touching the device, and auto cooling down when your lips aren’t touching the device
- Boost - will increase your vapor production but won’t sacrifice your preferred temperature by ramping up the temperature faster, waiting longer to auto cool, and increasing the standby time to 1 minute
- Efficiency - supports consistent vapor production by increasing the temperature by one degree every two seconds that your lips are touching the device
- Stealth - maintains a lower temperature, cools down faster, turns off the LED light, and enters standby mode in 15 seconds
- Flavour - optimized for flavour with fast auto-cooling and more boosting
You can vape concentrates now! Thanks to the concentrate insert which is included in the complete kit. The insert will work best if your Pax 3 is on a medium high or high temperature setting. Make sure to not overfill the insert, about 10 - 20 milligrams, or about the size of a grain of rice. The concentrate insert won’t sit completely flush with the unit, don’t worry, that is part of the design. Keep the unit upright, if the unit doesn’t stay upright, the concentrate could leak up the vapor path, which would make for a much stickier clean up than usual. When removing the concentrate insert, make sure to turn off the device first. It can be easier to remove the insert while it’s still warm, if your device has cooled down and the insert feels like it’s sticking, turn the device back on for 3 seconds, power off, then gently wiggle the insert out.
What’s the difference between the basic and complete kits? The units themselves are the same, but you get some handy accessories along with the complete kit. All of the accessories can be purchased from your friends at Shell Shock, but you get a much better deal when purchasing the complete kit.
