Pixie Glass

Tom and Iria were the first glass blowers Shell Shock ever used. We met them way back in the summer of 2001 at the Edmonton Fringe and let's say the rest is history. They are part of the reason Shell Shock wanted to deal with local and North American blowers, because once you meet these two, you fall in love with their work and their personalities. They now live and work back in Edmonton after a stint on Salt Spring Island, and Shell Shockers couldn't be happier

Why did you start blowing glass and what inspired you?
All them beautiful pipes I saw in the shops when I took in my stone pipe to sell.

What is you favorite color to blow with?
Unobtainum!

How did you come to be hooked up with Shell Shock?
Through a friend at the fringe festival.

Do you have any pets.
Yes, a beta fish and a African leopard frog.

How long have you been in business.
11 years.

Marble Slinger.

If you could miniaturize any animal real or fictional and make it your pet, what would it be and what is its size?
I would make an elephant the size of a mouse.
